We are a Barrio Logan led organization with a mission to empower our community through self-sufficiency, prided in providing resources, beautification, maintenance efforts, and celebrating our community, our art, expanding cultural significance, and investing in our community. All While maintaining and preserving the rich history and our culture.

BOARD MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

All Board members must be an AFL voting member.
You understand the bylaws and take an oath to uphold All For Logan Bylaws. Bylaws are available to view- www.allforlogan.com
You understand your legal duties and loyalty to the organization and align with its mission.
Attend 90% of yearly Monthly Board Members meetings. Excused absences are to be determined by the AFL Board.
Allocate 100 annual hours of volunteer service outside of attending
meetings. These include but are not limited to efforts in planning, marketing, administration, events, maintenance, volunteering, communications, etc.

VOTING MEMBERS
You must reside, work, own a business, or have a project within the 92113 zip code.

You must show proof of such residency, work, business, or project proposals to the Board before submitting any vote of any kind. Acceptable forms of documentation are bills, lease, pay stubs, and project agreements showing the applicant name and address in the 92113 area.

You align with All For Logan’s mission.
You must submit an application to become a member on www.allforlogan.com. Approval of voting membership is determined by a vote of the AFL Board. The applicant must show proof of the qualifications outlined in line #1.

RESPONSABILIDADES DE LOS MIEMBROS DE LA JUNTA

Duties (Please note this is volunteer based work and responsibilities Include, but are not limited to the following):

1. Annual filing with the IRS and State of California to make sure you’re in good standing.
2. Filing taxes with both the state and federal government.
3. Managing the books.
4. Creating budgets.
5. Applying for grants.
6. Reporting quarterly for grants.
7. Grant management.
8. Monthly financial reports.
9. Identifying funding sources.
10. Fundraising efforts.
11. Coordinating Maintenance efforts along Logan Avenue and funding maintenance funding sources.
12. Advocacy with elected officials for infrastructure needs.
13. Planning and running AFL meetings.
14. Managing and creating Meeting Minutes and Reports.
15. Community engagement and communications with Logan Avenue businessess and residents..
16. Managing social media.
17. Marketing of Logan Avenue.
18. Updating website and digital presence.
19. Working with businesses to coordinate events in Logan.
20. Collaborating with partner organizations.
21. Any permitting applications.
